WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW - CAMPGROUND

• Campsites can only be reserved for 5 days. Contact us for inquiries on longer stays. 

• Pets are not allowed in cabins or the main house. Pets can not be left unsupervised or left alone on the property. Pets must be on a leash and picked up after. 

• No tow behind campers, large RVs or 5th wheels. 

• No vehicles over 25 feet 

• 6 people per campsite ( 4 is most comfortable some sites vary, see site map and details, most sites are 2-3 tents max.

• 2 cars per campsite max 

• No wood fires - gas & propane stoves are ok. Propane fire pits provided. 

• Quiet time is 10pm-7am. This is a peaceful space. Please respect the area and other campers.

• This is the desert. We have wildlife! Snakes, coyotes, spiders, scorpions. Please be on the look out and stay safe.

WATER

There is access to water through our water station by the shower, that can be used for cooking/washing. We drink our water from the house. Drinking spigot water is at your own risk. We recommend boiling all water.  We are on a WELL. Please conserve water by fully closing all spouts and spigots. Report any leaks to info@joshuatreecrashpad.com.  

BATHROOMS/SHOWERS

We currently have port-a-potties located at the back right corner of the property. Please use them, keep them clean and close them behind you when you are finished to keep animals out. Please close the gate to the port-o-potties when finished to keep the property secure.

Our showers are free with your stay. They are on a 7 minute timer with a 5 minute wait between showers. If you shower less than 5 minutes, the remaining time will be added to the wait time. The timers count down and beep at every minute. You can pause showers for 30 seconds one time. Please turn the water off even if the shower auto shuts off after the timer ends. No toxic soaps, heavy shower scrubs or hair brushing in the shower. Please keep drains clear. Report any shower issues to our info email ASAP. Please leave doors open and latched after showering.

CAMP KITCHEN & FIRE PITS 

We have several picnic tables and a grill under eucalyptus trees for everyone to use. Please clean up the grill and turn off the gas when you're finished using it. 

​

Gas fire pits are around the property for your use. Please turn the gas off if you are the last to leave the fire pit. Email us if propane runs out.

​

TRASH

All trash should be thrown out at the dumpster at the end of the driveway outside of the fence. Please keep trash contained at your site over night and do not leave it at the site if you leave the property for the day. Unfortunately, there is no recycling service in Joshua Tree, recycling will have to be mixed in with your regular trash or taken with you.

It gets windy! Especially at night and early morning. Make sure you are staked down and your trash and personal items are secure so they will not blow away. 

​

Please drive only on marked roads and park in marked parking spaces or campsites.
